I am back!

Hi guys, apologies for the long idleness. I have been bz with my training, and also not having the motivation to blog. Finally, my training has paid off and i started my journey as SO with SIA. Training has not come to an end, still have a few more months to go before i finally checked out. So far i have been to countries ard Asia like China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam,India. Will travel further once i check out. My most exciting trip so far has been Nanjing, China as i get to tour the city because i have 3 nights to spend there. The company for this trip had been fun loving and friendly too. We got together, employed a tour guide and travel ard Nanjing as well as Su Zhou. Super fun, how i wish everywhere i go i get a few days off like that! Other than flying, i also started serving as bassist in church, i truly enjoy serving in the chinese ministry, the chinese gospel songs are actually to my surprise, very nice and ministering. I have also started my journey with Rekha, a kid which i will sponsor to the age of 18 and lives in India(i will talk more abt her in the next post). I am so excited abt life, the ups and downs which are bound to happen as well as the unpredictable future which the Lord has in stored for me. Life of cos is not a bed of roses, many a time, i tried my best to stay happy and positive, and i thank God for He always pulled me back on the right path every time i strayed away. Phew, i don't know how to squeeze 1 year of updates in a single post:) Well, i just have to keep posting and posting i guess, do look out for my new updates! That's all for now:)

Course 121...

hi guys, this post is dedicated to my beloved course mates who together we bashed through jungle & obstacles, painless exams, and nerve wracking flight tests. Thinking back to the days where we first met till now, it is no doubt that time flies. In an blink of an eye, we had been together as a course for almost 2 yrs. Throughout these 2 yrs, unfortunately the full strength of 21 became 17 due to the cruel aptitude-based training that we have. Sad to say there's always politics no matter where we go, and indeed misunderstanding often happens in our course. But i know all these are bound to happen and it is good that they happened so as to put our friendship to test and only ultimately to strengthen it. Well, politics is only 25% of our course, the remaining are fun loving people, drunkards, gamblers, vainer (singular),dota addicts, encyclopedia, musical inclined, and etc. I learned a lot from these bunch of people and hope to continue to absorb more from them. Only about 1 yr before we all start our career, so let's cherish the time we have and compliment each other to leave only a wonderful memory for us to reflect 10 yrs down the road, cheers.

Sunshine coast, Maroochydore!

hello, its been a long while since i post something. Did you miss me? i guess not,LOL. Well, after a long ordeal at SIA training centre (STC) doing nothing interesting but data entry and filing, finally its my turn to report to Singapore flying college, maroochydore branch. Here i will be exposed to simulator training and introduction to line-flying operation. Learjet 45 is the big boy's toy here, and i am looking forward to taking this toy up to as high as FL 510 (51000ft). The accommodation here is fantastic, river side view and well equipped kitchen and etc. Although no catering service here, luckily enuh i have a great housemate who is good at cooking, so no worries when it comes to meals. It is now autumn in brisbane so the weather is dry and cooling. No more sweaty body and disgusting BO during the day!! Well, that's all for now, will update more on my oncoming training.

I am coming home, i've done my time!

Hello, finally after 1 yr of training, i have completed my training here at Jandakot.Looking back, the training here has made me tougher and more mature.Still remember those days where i struggled with the first solo check, second solo check and blah blah blah. Really wanna thank God, for without Him i wouldn't be here today.I am happy to be back in Sg, enjoying the delicious food at the hawker centres.Catching up with family and friends.Unfortunately, i have got another course coming up, and it clashes with the CNY,so i guess i just have to multi-task and manage them at the same time:) Well, tts all for now..will update u more on my training. Cheers!!!

Baron!!!

After 10 months of flying the Cessna 172, finally i have come to the Baron(BE 58) phase..this is the final phase for my training in Jandakot (phew)..Well, it is a twin, same as cessna 172, 4 seaters generally. With the extra engine, i have to work double the pace of the cessna 172. So far, i find it more stable as compare to the cessna, and very comfortingly, easier to land due to its low wing configuration. All of the speeds config are different from the cessna, hence, i have to start adapting to this a/c right from the start. It is easier said than done, however, God is faithful and i believe HE will guide me till the end. Amen!

Red Bull Air Show...

Hihihi, its been a nong nong while since i last posted..phew, finally got the motivation back to start blogging..Perth recently just had one of its most exciting events, the Red Bull Air Race...It was a thrillng race where professional pilots from all over the world, gathered and raced against each other in a fix pattern with their 500 kg light aircrafts. Before the actual race, there was an air show where the pilots show off their wonderful aircrafts as well as their polished skills. I was there with my coursemates and we were excited to see all the beautiful aircrafts and people. Took some pictures for your viewing, hope you enjoy it:)
